My Review:
The Girl Who Knew Death is the fourth book in the Spider Green Mystery Series. The Girl Who Knew Death starts off with a blast and never lets up. The Girl Who Knew Death is about a navy lawyer and former first daughter Faydra (Fay) Green. Fay has been through a lot lately as we found out in the last book Deception Pass but Fay is feeling so much better now.
In The Girl Who Knew Death Fay has some surprising news that she must tell her adopted daughter Katrinka (Kat). Fay is dreading telling her daughter as she is not sure how she will accept it. This news will turn her life upside down. Kat will have to make a choice about her life.
After Kat was given this news she was captured and thrown into an Egyptian prison. While Fay is making plans to get her out Kat escapes. Kat stays in hiding until it is safe once again to contact Fay.
The Girl Who Knew Death is filled with lots of mystery and suspense that drew me in from the first page and once I opened it I couldn’t close it again until I had read the last page. Once I started reading The Girl Who Knew Death I was under its spell.
The descriptions were so vividly written to the point where I felt I knew the characters and could relate to them in some ways. I mean it was written in a way that it felt real, like real life.
I really enjoyed the paranormal elements that were added it made the story that much more interesting. I have loved each and every book in the Spider Green Series that I have read so far and can’t wait to read more from this world.
I would highly recommend The Girl Who Knew Death to anyone who enjoys a great mystery! One-click your copy of The Girl Who Knew Death today!
EXCERPT:
The tourist dressed in white shorts and running shoes, a tangerine top, a ball cap, sunglasses, and a red backpack descended the gang plank from the ship to the dock at Cruise Ships Dock at Limassol, New Port. Once on the dock, she paused to ensure the two men lurking in the shadows of the terminal building had noticed her. She hailed a cab. Her destination was the Russian Embassy in the nearby capitol of Nicosia. The trip to the embassy would take almost two hours. Occasionally, she checked to be sure the men were keeping up with her. She wanted to know where they were at all times. Each morning, she began her day with but one simple rule Irishka has once taught her: “Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running.”
I must run today. Every day. Without fail, Kat thought.
AUTHOR Bio and Links:
Norm Harris' first novel debuted on an Amazon bestseller list in 2002. It was a one-and-done, but now he's back with a plan to publish a couple of sequels to that first mystery/thriller of days gone by. Except for time spent in military service, he is a second-generation Seattleite (that's what they call those who dwell in the shadow of Mt. Rainier), with his legal beagle son, K-K, and five giant tropical fish. His upcoming release, The Girl Who Knew Death, is the fourth book in what he hopes to be an award-winning Spider Green Mystery Story series.

Thanks for hosting! I always enjoy your honest reviews of the Spider Green Series. I am working on book 5 which may have a surprise character. I hope to reach back into the public domain for him. A IP lawyer as said I can use this man. Hint, James is his first name. Today we begin production on an audio book of Deception Pass. Maria McCann, an actor in over 45 TV/films will be Fayda. Interesting that Maria has been featured in the TV series Lucifer which inspired The Girl Who Knew Death. Later this summer I may be meeting with several agents from the TV/film world to talk about film rights representation. So stay turned...lots going on. I hope any of you find the time to read one of these books and too leave a review if you do. Regards Norm
